This is my first review EVER online and this restaurant is AMAZING!!!!!! The chef is creative, the food fresh, the menu is diverse with items you would expect to see in a large city mixed with all around favorites with a twist...honestly- it was one of the best lunches I have had. Folks in this area are lucky to have this gem of a restaurant....
The Lodge is located in a woodsy area of town right next to a beautiful golf course. I stayed in the stable section, which is a separate building from the main lobby and suites. Wi-Fi isn't the best in that area, but if you need better internet for work, etc. the lobby has a great connection. The Stable has a very rustic feel to it. It's old fashioned and nice, with a personal touch. The staff is very friendly and it's great walking out of your room and being outside surrounded by trees right away.
Rooms on top floor are very spacious and accommodating. Service at the bar and restaurant could be better.
This is a review of just the Lodge Restaurant(we didn't stay at the hotel). We visited the Lodge Restaurant for a night out and had a wonderful experience! The food was gorgeous and tasted great too. It was a bit fancier than expected, however, the wait staff was gracious about us having a baby along and were so friendly and welcoming. The dining room has a beautiful view of the lake with windows lining the whole wall. This would be an excellent choice for a nice restaurant to celebrate anniversaries or special occasions. It has a fabulous ambiance too.
They were really nice. Stayed in the stable area. Breakfast could really be improved as well as the beds. Lots of calcium on faucets and shower head. Had a pizza left in fridge from last guest. Water got hot quickly.
