Great Restaurant!!!! Google obviously has no clue that this is a restaurant and not a beauty supply place (picture isn't correct either).
Yummy small town cafe. Have been here for breakfast many times when we were in town for Winnebago service. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, home cooking.
They don't tell you that they take only cash until you are severed your meal. The cashier was mad because I asked why they don't have a sign posted telling customers this. I left and won't be back. Old school restaurant management
The food was just like I would make it at home. No frills. Sides are extra but everything is priced low enough that it's OK. My only real objection is the smell of some kind of cleaning product. Clean is good but the smell is not inviting when mixed with the aroma of food and old building.
And to respond to the one-star review left by the firefighter...... Sally's isn't Applebee's. She has three staff members including herself. There were an estimated 7000 firefighters in town that weekend. Sally uses a shortened menu during events like this to make it easier to serve the large influx of customers. She DOES NOT INFLATE PRICES!!! Shame on you for judging before you had all the facts....or even a few facts. You didn't even ask Sally about her menu or prices. Get the facts before you make posts like this.
Best pie anywhere and really friendly staff! Just a great all-around experience!
Food was good and service was nice. But inflating prices due to fire convention is wrong. Making firefighters pay more (a lot more ) on a Saturday competition day is shameful.
